Financial standing of organization is crucial in the current situation especially after the world hit by COVID19 epidemic. Many organisations worldwide are having financial constraints. Various crises emerge as a result of pandemics that will inevitably affect the income and spending trends of an organization. SKAD is responsible for assisting UM to implement prudent and effective financial management to minimize the risk of the effects of financial constraints.

Financial Audits are conducted by SKAD auditors to review matters relating to the financial management of the organization. The financial audit would be a great tool to assist UM’s management in making effective decisions in the managing UM’s financial matters. The main purpose of financial audit is to ensure that all forms of income and expenditure are implemented in accordance with the rules set by the UM authorities. In addition, the audit team needs to assess the risks that could be detrimental to UM.

SKAD's financial audit team will focus on assurance and consulting activities such as financial audits, rigorous financial data analysis using CAATs and assessing the financial requirements based on Malaysia Public Sector Accounting Standard (MPSAS).

The team consists of experienced and qualified auditors who will perform the audits that covers a full spectrum of accounting, financial reporting, procurement and financial governance in line with regulatory requirements.

Financial Audit Team

Hazlyana binti Mohd Azizuddin Hazlyana joined Internal Audit Section in 2007 with two years of financial experiences in construction company. She holds a Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Tenaga National.

Nur Syakirin binti Zainurin Syakirin joined Internal Audit Section in 2017 with six years of financial experiences in publication industries. She graduated from MARA University of Technology with a Bachelor in Accountancy.

Project Management Audit Team

 

Mariamah binti Abdul Rashid Mariamah joined Internal Audit Section in 2008 and has over ten years of expertise in internal auditing focusing on financial audit, management audit and special review. She graduated from MARA University of Technology with a Bachelor in Accountancy.

Hal Azran bin Razmi Hal Azran joined Internal Audit Section in 2017 and has over 4 years of experience in internal auditing. He graduated from Poly-Tech MARA College University with a Diploma in Accounting & Finance.
